I didn't expect anything from my
first meeting with Dr. Focks, least of all anything that could possibly help me.
After all I was geared for weeks & weeks, possibly months of counseling.
This is what one would think when they are trying to figure it all out or rely
on themselves.

During the 1st meeting, Dr. Focks shared some very
simple yet profound words regarding my past & how it is affecting my adult life.
What Dr. Focks said was nothing new, but it was the way he said it.
It sunk in. It made sense. For the first time in my life, I am
free. I understand it. I am who I am because of Jesus Christ, it
has nothing to do with where I've come from. With that said, I feel
strong, confident, & very hopeful.
